Dalaman Airport has direct flights from İstanbul and Ankara and is 160 km from Datça. Take the airport bus to Marmaris, then the hourly minibus to the site. From Bodrum Airport, the ferry reaches Datça in about 1.5 hours; timetables change with the season, so check before you travel.
25 km from Datça (about 15 minutes) and 35 km from Marmaris (about 40 minutes). Datça–İzmir is 330 km, about 4 hours; the bus from İstanbul takes about 14 hours.
Coaches to and from İstanbul, İzmir, Ankara and Muğla stop at the site every morning and evening. Minibuses to Datça leave from near the houses, and there’s a taxi rank at the gate.
Ferries run between Bodrum and Datça, with extra hydrofoils in summer. You can also reach Datça by ferry or hydrofoil from the islands of Rhodes and Symi.
